‘TREEMENDOUS’ ESTATE AGENT’S TREE UNVEILED AT KNARESBOROUGH CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

The Knaresborough office of estate agency firm, Dacre, Son & Hartley, has entered yet another contribution to the annual Great Knaresborough St John’s Christmas Tree Festival.

This year’s entry is called “Treemendous Estate Agent’s Tree” and it is on display at the popular event from this weekend.

Each December, the festival transforms St John’s Church, Knaresborough into a magical forest of festively adorned trees, with over 90 entries this year from local businesses, community groups, schools and shops.

Nick Alcock, Senior Associate and Branch Manager of the Knaresborough office, commented: “Our Treemendous Estate Agent’s Tree is a playful, seasonally themed design created by our team in Knaresborough. It showcases our commitment to the community and adds a touch of property-themed fun to the festival’s displays.

“We’re proud to have been a part of this festival since its inception and we’ve really enjoyed taking part in this wonderful community tradition once again. The Christmas Tree Festival brings people together, shines a light on local businesses, and adds real festive cheer to the town all whilst raising money for charity.”

Visitors to the festival will find Dacre, Son & Hartley’s tree amongst dozens of others throughout St John’s Church, each decorated in unique and imaginative ways. Admission is free; with attendees encouraged to donate or purchase a £5 programme. Proceeds will be divided between Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Harrogate Homeless Project and Save the Children.

The festival runs from Saturday 6th to Sunday 21st December. The event is free to enter, with programmes and raffle tickets available to buy. Opening hours vary throughout the festival: Saturdays: 10am – 5pm; Sundays: 12pm – 4pm; and weekdays: 12pm – 5pm. Refreshments and mulled wine will be available at weekends.
